What does an Oʻahu wedding photographer cost?
Island Memoir’s current à la carte wedding photography starts at $399 for the first hour and $199 for each additional hour, with a two-hour minimum. Fixed wedding collections currently range from $1,999 to $6,999. Your final proposal confirms coverage, travel and optional additions before you book.
Which areas do you serve for weddings?
We are based in Honolulu and serve weddings across Oʻahu, including Waikīkī, Ko Olina, Kailua, Kāneʻohe and the North Shore. Neighbour-island travel may be available by request; any travel requirements are discussed upfront.
What is your wedding photography style?
Our style is natural, heartfelt and story-driven. We combine documentary-style observation with gentle direction, preserving real emotion and relationships while creating polished, timeless images.
Do you photograph small weddings and elopements?
Yes. Flexible hourly coverage can work well for intimate ceremonies and shorter celebrations, while fixed collections support fuller wedding-day stories. Share your plans and we can recommend the best fit.
Can we book photography, videography and a photo booth together?
Yes. Premier, Luxe and Heirloom collections include videography and photo booth coverage. Each service can also be booked separately, subject to availability and minimum coverage requirements.
Can we book videography without photography?
Yes. Standalone videography currently starts at $399 for the first hour and $249 for each additional hour, with a two-hour minimum. Optional full ceremony, toast, drone and raw-footage additions may also be available.
What is included with the wedding photo booth?
Current photo booth bookings include unlimited sessions, an onsite attendant, a custom template, backdrop and props, instant prints and a full digital gallery. Standalone bookings start at $399 for two hours.
Will you help us plan the photography timeline?
Yes. We provide timeline recommendations designed around your priorities, locations, key events and available light. We also collaborate with your planner or other suppliers where helpful.
What if we feel awkward in front of the camera?
You are not expected to arrive knowing how to pose. We use calm prompts and gentle direction when needed, then leave room for real connection and natural moments to unfold.
How far ahead should we book?
The existing JTP guidance recommends contacting us at least four to six weeks ahead, especially for popular dates. Many couples plan earlier, and last-minute requests are still welcome when the team is available.
How do we reserve our wedding date?
Start by sending your wedding details through the inquiry page. Once coverage is confirmed, a signed contract and 50% non-refundable retainer secure the date. The remaining balance is due before the event.
Are there hidden fees?
No. Package details, travel costs and selected add-ons are discussed and written into your contract before booking so you can make an informed decision.
What happens if we need to reschedule?
Contact us as soon as possible. The retainer is non-refundable, but we will do our best to move your coverage to another available date according to the terms of your agreement.
How are our wedding photographs delivered?
Your professionally edited, high-resolution photographs are delivered through an online gallery designed for easy viewing, sharing and printing. Your proposal will set out the specific delivery details for your coverage.
